Have you ever stumbled upon a place that just feels like home? That’s Fat Calf Brasserie in Shreveport, Louisiana. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a cozy spot where French-inspired Southern cooking meets a warm, inviting atmosphere.
From Food Trailer to Neighborhood Favorite
The story of Fat Calf Brasserie is a fun one. It started as Fat Calf Boucherie, a simple food trailer outside Red River Brewing Company. They were known for serving tasty food made with meat from local farms. People loved it so much that the trailer moved inside the brewery. Two years later, it grew into Fat Calf Brasserie, a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the Highland neighborhood.
Today, Fat Calf Brasserie is a neighborhood favorite, serving French Southern dishes in a relaxed setting. Because it’s a small restaurant, it’s best to book a table to enjoy their happy hour deals, special drinks, and tasty food.
